Statement Of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that all human problems have their answers here.

We believe that there is but one God, and that He is known to us through three separate persons acting as one — God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God loves all people; He demonstrates his love for us continually by reaching out to those who are lost, oppressed, widowed, and orphaned, offering His healing power to all who will ask Him.

We believe that man is created in the image of God, but has separated himself from Him through sin. Jesus is the only way for us to establish a relationship with God and to obtain salvation through Him.

We believe that salvation is the route to a personal relationship with God — a salvation that is not earned by man, but which is granted by God as a gesture of his love for us. We receive this gift when we admit to our sins and believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

We believe that the rite of water baptism enables believers to correctly comprehend the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, and that baptism provides outward expression of and testament to the individual’s faith, serving as an example to the world.

We believe that the church is the body of Christ on Earth, and that each believer plays a vital role in exercising His will among all peoples.

We believe that the Baptism, the New Birth and the infilling of the Holy Spirit was granted by God in order to enable believers to develop the character of Christ, and to live in accordance with His perfect will.

We believe that the spiritual gifts we receive from God exist in order to allow us to strengthen God’s church and people, and provide proof of His existence to unbelievers.

We believe in sanctification as a means of developing God’s character within ourselves.

We believe that physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing are available to us through Jesus.

We believe that those who die without accepting Christ as their personal savior are sent to hell, a place of suffering and of eternal separation from God.

We believe that Jesus will return for those who have accepted Him, taking them to join Him in heaven for all time.
